How do we get bond?

We are planning to start a business at the end of 2007. We have excellence personal credit scores. My partner have been in the road construction business for 25 years, working for a very successful company. However, we will be a brand new company with no history. How do we get bonded and how much can we get bond for? Thank in advance.

Good news for you! We have a program called Fast Track that is designed for new companies. The program gives you a bond line of $200,000 which enables you to get single bonds (bid or performance) up to $200,000 each for a total aggregate limit at any one time of $200,000. This program allows you to get your business established and when you get financial statements available you can be moved to the next program - $200,000 single and $400,000 aggregate - but not usually until after a year.
