There is a large bid coming up in Queens NY that I would really like to obtain for my company. This is the first time that I have ever had to be bonded for a job. I keep calling companies all across the country to write this bond for me but as soon as I mention New York they turn me down. Can you help?

Unfortunately, no we can't. NYC and the surrounding Boros are very difficult to obtain contracting bonding for. I would suggest that you focus on trying to find an agent IN New York City that is familiar with the challenges of writing bonds there.
