Default Special Bond Forms

I recently applied under the Fast Track application. Right before I received the bid bond from you, I found out that the obligee DOES have special bond forms. Does that mean that this bid bond will get rejected since it is on your form and not the obligees? Will the obligee most likely accept it?

That's a very good question - and one you should ask the Obligee. If they do have special forms and we didn't issue the bond on them, you could very likely be tossed from the bid. If you are the low bidder, this means you would not get the job. It's always a good idea to look through the pack of information you get prior to requesting a bond because the Surety needs to approve the forms before they are issued.

Good luck!
