Default Cost of Bid Bond

I am interested in obtaining a bid bond so that I can place a bid on a project. Is there a standard cost for a bid bond? or does it vary?

Generally there is a small service fee due for bid bonds. There could be two options for paying for bid bonds. A fee for each bid or an annual charge for unlimited bid bonds - these fees can range from $50 to $250.

Just remember when you are bidding a job that you include in the bid price the cost of the final bond should you be awarded the project.
