My credit isn't bad, but I have a couple of collections on my report that shouldn't be on there. I've recently disputed them and have had them resolved with the creditors. Unfortunately it will take a little time before it's reflected on my credit report.

In the meantime...
When applying for the bond, would it help if I provided the letters from the creditors showing that the accounts are in good standing?

Yes, it would help a great deal if you can provide documentation from creditors that the accounts are in good standing. That could help you qualify for the standard program, but it's hard to say until the representative submits everything to the surety company for approval and a formal quote.
