New Ownership

We are purchasing a travel agency that currently has a bond under a standard market. Can their bond be transfered to our company name?

The surety will have to re-underwrite the bond, as it was approved on the assessed risk of the company and it's owner(s). Changing the owners changes everything. It would be best to call the agent the original bond was placed with to see what the next steps are.
