 Bad Credit Title Bond?
I have a major issue I am hoping you may be able to help. I have been working as a Title Agents assistant for 16 years. The Agent that I have been working for is retiring and he wants to sell the business to the 3 employees that have been with him for many years. My issue is that I have a very horrible credit report. I went through a divorce a few years back and was wiped out. The cash for the business that I am putting up is a gift from my mother. My credit is well below 600 and I have a BK and a few tax liens. Do you have any idea if I would qualify to get the bond? I don't want to waste time or money if I can not be a Licensed Title Agent.
